It is actually quite a no brainer, everyone knows this. But unfortunately we discard these pearls of age old wisdom far too often. Healthy lifestyle does make overall difference. Quite often we grapple with what exactly is a healthy lifestyle as every now and then, new trends and fads seek our attention. It’s official now,  recently, these five habits were chosen to have the largest impact on universal health:  

  1. Healthy diet– the reported intake of healthy foods such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, healthy fats, and omega-3 fatty acids over unhealthy foods like red and processed meats, sugar-sweetened beverages, trans fat, and sodium was on top list. 
  2. Healthy physical activity – at least 30 minutes a day of moderate to vigorous activity daily made it to number 2 in healthy habits. 
  3.   Healthy body weight, (BMI) was rated between 18.5 and 24.9.
  4. No Smoking was voted  -The Healthiest Habit. 
  5. Staying Happy –  Last but not the least was voted as a basis to overall health and well-being by most.

Certain facts will not change or go out of trend. It’s best to live the secrets, starting now.
