A Man’s Health is a Man’s Real Wealth

A proverbial saying goes- Health is Wealth!

This is undeniably true as an unhealthy person can never live a fulfilling life. The modern-day life is replete with challenges which tempt us to make convenient but detrimental lifestyle decisions. This is especially true for men, as most of them usually follow a hectic work schedule outside their homes, and hence need to be extra cautious about their health.

We suggest the following tips that can help men move towards a healthy life

Go for natural foods

Avoid packaged food as they are high in salt, sugar, unhealthy fats, artificial additives and calories. Incorporate more natural foods in your diet like Fresh vegetables & fruits, whole grain products, fiber rich foods, lean cuts of meat & poultry, fish.

Watch your plate

Staying in shape can be challenging as your 30s kick off because the body uses 12 fewer calories a day past the benchmark age of 30. Consequently, you may have to deal with the expanding waistline nightmare, more so if you have a sedentary lifestyle. Reduce the food quantity slightly in every meal and have small amount of food every 2 hours.

Don’t forget to exercise

Incorporate daily exercise of at least 30 minutes in your schedule. You can do aerobic exercises such as walking, jogging, swimming or playing tennis, etc. Having at least 2 sessions of muscle strength training every week can also boost your health.

Bulk up if you need to

Protein and calorie dense food can help you bulk up or build body. To get high amount of protein you should incorporate meat, chicken, fish & egg, etc. in your diet and also drink weight gainer shakes by mixing milk, oats, banana, peanut butter and whey protein. Bulking on pasta, nuts and dried fruits can feed you lots of calories.

Look after your body image

If you believe surgical procedure can improve your body image, then surgeries such as liposuction, nose surgery, eyelid surgery, facelifts and male breast reduction can be helpful for you.

Test the testosterone

After the age of 30 years, your testosterone levels also decline. You can experience loss of sex drive, depression, insomnia, fewer nocturnal erections and reduced strength as a result. Low testosterone levels have also been linked to an increased risk of heart disease, prostate cancer and even premature death. So, keep a check!

Keep an eye on prostate

If you feel pain while urinating, find it tough to urinate or notice blood in urine, it may be a sign of prostate cancer. Undergo a prostate exam or blood tests to identify if it is prostate cancer or some other condition.

Erectile Dysfunction

Chronic diseases, injuries, mental disorders, certain medications and drug usage can lead you to erectile dysfunction. To prevent this issue, eat healthy, exercise daily, avoid smoking & alcohol and manage chronic diseases. Staying happy and keeping healthy weight can also ward-off this problem.

Boost sex life

To stay physically and mentally healthy, having an active sex life is essential and it can make your relationship stronger. Starting with foreplay rather than directly going for intercourse, using different sex positions and letting your partner take charge can boost your sex life.

Curb snoring

If you snore, try to sleep on your side rather than back as lying on back makes base of tongue and soft palate collapse to the back wall of the throat & can cause vibrating sound during sleep. You should also lose weight, quit smoking & alcohol and keep nasal passages clear.

Incorporate all these tips in your lifestyle to secure your health!
