Anemia

Anemia (Red blood cell deficiency) is a condition in which the body doesn't have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen to the tissues. Anemia can cause fatigue, pale skin, weakness, dizziness, headache, chest pain, and shortness of breath. There are many types of anemia and many causes, including blood loss and vitamin deficiencies. Pregnancy, chronic diseases, cancer, and autoimmune disorders can also cause anemia. Depending on the type of anemia you have, there are several different treatments. Pain or discomfort, Fatigue, Pale skin, Weight loss , Loss of consciousness, Tires quickly, Dizziness, Lightheadedness, Shortness of breath, Fainting, Difficulty concentrating, Weakness 

DIAGNOSIS & TREATMENT

Diagnosis: To diagnose anemia, the doctor will take the detailed medical history followed by a physical exam. Blood tests that will include a red blood cell count, a gastrointestinal intestinal exam, or a bone marrow biopsy may also be required

Treatment: The treatment for anemia depends on what's causing the anemia. Iron-deficiency anemia and vitamin-deficiency anemia are usually treated with iron and vitamin supplements and changes in the diet. You may need blood transfusions, surgery, or medications for other types of anemia.
