Animal Bites

Animal bites are caused by dogs or snakes, kindly perform first aid tips given below to the person before medical help arrives.

First Aid

• Apply direct pressure till it stops bleeding
• Gently clean the bitten area with soap and warm water. Keep rinsing the wound for several minutes after cleaning
• Apply an antibiotic cream to reduce the risk of infection. Cover the wound with a sterile bandage

Consult a Doctor seek medical help, if:

seriously wounded bleeding can't be stopped after 10 minutes despite
firm and steady pressure severe bleeding
